Virginia is dedicated to helping adults work through past and current trauma to lead lives that feel aligned with their highest vision of themselves.

Virginia is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Art Therapist with an holistic approach to well-being that is grounded in compassion, insight, neuroscience, and a firm belief in every person’s capacity to heal and feel whole. She is intuitive and open-minded, and creates a safe space to feel truly seen and supported.

Virginia draws from a range of evidence-based and other therapeutic modalities to support each client’s unique needs and goals. Her integrative approach allows for flexibility, depth, and responsiveness as the client progresses in counselling.

Professional Experience

Virginia spent the first years of her counselling career working in an outdoor-based school for at-risk youth, where she supported teens experiencing anxiety, depression, substance use issues and addiction, complex trauma, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), autism spectrum disorder, and other challenges.

Virginia went on to work as a Child and Family Counsellor at a community-based agency in Burnaby, where she continues to support children, youth and their families with a wide-range of complex and co-occurring mental health issues.

A previous 10+ year career in marketing and communications led to a special interest in corporate well-being, stress management and burnout recovery. Since 2021 Virginia has had the opportunity to facilitate mental health workshops across the USA with the International Association of Administration Professionals.
